While both life coaches and therapists help individuals improve their lives, therapists typically focus on addressing mental health issues and past traumas, while life coaches build a partnership to help individuals cultivate greater awareness and coping mechanisms for the present moment.
According to John Kabat-Zinn, mindfulness is "the awareness that arises from paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally."accountability to ensure they stay on track to achieve their goals.
During our sessions, we will use a variety of mindfulness techniques such as breathwork and meditation. This helps clients develop techniques to stay present, reflect on their feelings and behaviors, and establish an action plan to enhance emotional regulation through tailored mindfulness practices.
We recommend 3-6 months for 5 (45-mins) coaching sessions.
